Camp Cal-Wood is a six-day, overnight adventure designed just for rising 4th–6th graders who are ready to explore the mountains, make new friends, and have nonstop fun. Campers sleep in cozy cabins and spend their days hiking forest trails, playing active games, getting creative with nature crafts, and discovering the wonders of the outdoors through hands-on exploration. With a balance of structured group activities and camper choice time, each day is full of variety, discovery, and laughter.

Evenings bring the magic of campfires, songs, and stargazing as campers unwind and connect with their cabin groups. Our experienced staff foster a welcoming, inclusive environment with a 9:1 cabin ratio and small daytime groups to ensure every camper feels supported and included. Whether it’s roasting marshmallows, spotting wildlife, or learning something new, Camp Cal-Wood is the perfect place for young adventurers to build confidence, curiosity, and lasting memories.

During registration, you will be asked to pay the full cost of camp and upload the following:

1. A picture of your child
2. Current Well Child Check (medical record)
3. Immunization Records (CDPHE approved)
