  • Thank you for your interest in the Citizens Academy, a program offered by the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office. This six-week experience is designed to give residents a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system and the role our office plays within it.

    Applications for the Spring 2026 Session will open on February 9 and close on March 9, 2026.


    The Spring Session of the Citizens Academy will take place every Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., beginning April 9 and concluding May 14, 2026.

    The program is open to individuals 18 and older who reside in the Greater St. Louis area.

    Note: Please complete all fields. If something doesn't apply, write NA. Your responses are confidential and will not be shared outside the review process.

    A criminal conviction does not necessarily disqualify you from participating. All applications will be reviewed individually.

    Note that if you are selected, your participation will be contingent on a further background check, which will require you to provide your date of birth and Social Security Number.
