    Important Note: All information submitted on your eligiblity form must be accurate and truthful. If you falsify any information or register for the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship without being eligible, you will be required to pay the full price of the course. No exceptions will be made.

  • You are not currently eligible for Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship. However, you can apply for a scholarship through Michigan Works, Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS), or the PATH Program. Please contact these organizations direcly to learn more details.

    In addition, we offer payment plans, Klarna, AfterPay, and occasional discounts for students paying out of pocket.

    Before you complete the scholarship application, please carefully read and follow the below instructions.

    1. Please visit https://missg.guarantorsolutions.com/StudentPortal and create your account.
    2. Choose Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship FALL 25/26.
    3. Complete the form with YOUR information. Note: This application must be completed with your own information. Please do not submit the form on behalf of someone else.
    4. Choose “1st Step Healthcare Training”  (DO NOT choose 1st Step CNA Training)
    5. Click Submit
    6. AFTER submitting your application, please click here to complete your class registration on our website.  

    Note: If you register for the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship and you are actually ineligible, you will have to pay full price for the course (no exceptions). 

  • Funding is currently not available for Detroit residents unless you have a disability, you can apply through Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS). Please contact MRS directly to learn more details.
