THE WHY On October 7, 2023, Israel experienced one of the most devastating massacres in its modern history. The traumatic aftermath of that day left not only physical scars but deep emotional wounds across communities. The mental health crisis that followed has been profound, exposing the urgent need for trained, culturally competent, trauma-informed therapists who can provide sustainable healing and support. The Mira Stahl Foundation was born from this need—and from the legacy of Mira Stahl, a devoted therapist whose life’s work was rooted in empathy, healing, and hope. Our mission is to carry forward her commitment by investing in the next generation of trauma-informed mental health professionals. This fundraiser is more than a tribute. It is a response. A call to action. A promise that healing must be intentional, accessible, and rooted in professional care.
