This agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing participation in any programme or service provided by Leir Education Ltd. By signing below, the applicant (and, where applicable, their legal guardian) agrees to be bound by the following:

1. Aptitude to Participate

1.1 Leir Education Ltd and its directors unconditionally reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel any application to participate in any of our programmes at any time and without justifying the applicant or their representative(s).

1.2 The full and unconditional responsibility lies with the applicant—or, in the case of an applicant under the age of 18, with their legal representative—to provide, on the enrolment form, an honest and accurate disclosure of any medical, physical, emotional, social, behavioural, psychological, or mental issue or condition, regardless of severity, that may or may not affect the health, safety, and wellbeing of the applicant and/or any individual, associate, staff member, host family, and/or provider of Leir Education Ltd, whether directly or indirectly.

1.3 Failure to disclose any information that is required, necessary, or beneficial to the health and safety of any participant, or to the success of any Leir Education Ltd programme, may, without justification, result in:

a) Termination of or refusal to participate;
b) Liability for all additional and associated costs incurred;
c) No refund of any previous payments.

1.4 Leir Education Ltd and its directors have a duty of care towards all those who participate in our programmes, receive our services, partner with us, or work with us to deliver such services and programmes. It is acknowledged that Leir Education Ltd does not employ additional staff, nor does it have the facilities or resources to provide for individuals who may require a special needs assistant, medical care, counselling, or support outside the scope of the programme(s) and/or service(s) for which we are contracted to provide as a private entity.

2. Confidentiality Agreement

2.1 By completing and submitting the enrolment form, the student, parents, legal guardians, or family members agree not to enter into any arrangement or association that could interfere with, exclude, or disrupt Leir Education Ltd and its business, whether personal or professional, directly or indirectly, with any of the following parties:

• Schools;
• Universities;
• Businesses;
• Host families;
• Family friends;
• Associates.

2.2 Such contact or arrangement may only occur after first contacting Leir Education Ltd in writing to state the reason and provide details for such contact.

2.3 No contact may be made with the parties concerned until written consent or refusal has been issued by Leir Education Ltd, and the decision of Leir Education Ltd must be accepted.

3. Compliance and Conduct

3.1 The applicant undertakes to comply with all laws applicable to them and to conduct themselves appropriately at all times.

3.2 The applicant understands that failure to do so may result in expulsion from the programme.

3.3 In the event of expulsion, the applicant will be responsible for all costs incurred, including flights, and will not be entitled to any refund under any circumstances.

4. Governing Law

4.1 This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
