Program Mission Statement
The Lifesteps Student Ambassador Program empowers college students to serve as campus liaisons who promote awareness, engagement, and recruitment opportunities for Lifesteps. Through peer-to-peer outreach and event support, ambassadors play a vital role in building lasting academic partnerships and strengthening Lifesteps’ visibility in the student community.
Core Responsibilities
As a Student Ambassador, you will:
Brand Awareness: Distribute flyers, digital materials, and social media content to raise awareness of Lifesteps' mission, services, and employment opportunities.
Campus Networking: Engage with student organizations, academic departments, and career centers to share information and advocate for Lifesteps.
Event Support: Promote and assist with on-campus or virtual events, including information sessions, job fairs, and service initiatives.
Recruitment Assistance: Refer interested peers to current Lifesteps job openings, internships, and volunteer roles.
Feedback & Reporting: Report upon request to the Lifesteps Career Liaison regarding progress and specific instructions; assist with on campus events.
Expectations & Obligations
Time Commitment: 1-3 hours per month (flexible based on your academic schedule and event calendar)
Term Length: One academic year, with the option to renew based on performance and interest
Professionalism: Ambassadors are expected to represent Lifesteps with integrity, inclusivity, and enthusiasm in all campus and virtual interactions.
Communication:
Respond promptly to communications from the University Liaison or Lifesteps staff.
