    2026 Geothermal Rising Conference
  • Geothermal Rising relies on volunteer members to support the Geothermal Rising Conference (GRC). There are many opportunities for your participation including being part of the GRC Planning Committee or supporting the technical program as a Technical Session Chair or Reviewer. 

    GRC Planning Committee: Time commitments vary by position; however, committee members can anticipate an average of up to 4-6 hours per month.

    Technical Session Chairs/Reviewers: Estimated time for each part of the submission process are as follows:

    ·       Abstract Reviews: Up to 5 hours

    ·       Draft Paper/Poster Reviews: Up to 10 hours per session (includes responding to authors’ questions regarding your review)

    ·       Final Paper/Poster Reviews: Up to 5 hours per session

    Our association thrives thanks to the dedication of volunteer members who play a vital role in its success.
