The Man Cave is an at-will employer, which means that either the employer or the employee can terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any reason that is not illegal. By signing below, I understand that If hired at The Man Cave, my employment may be terminated at any time for any reason that is not illegal. Furthermore, I understand that I may end my employment at any time, for any reason that is not illegal.
Drug Testing Policy

The Man Cave reserves the right to require drug and alcohol testing for all applicants prior to employment and for all employees on a random basis during employment. By signing below, I acknowledge and consent to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of my application and continued employment. The drug testing panel includes, but is not limited to, screening for amphetamines, barbiturates including pentobarbital and methohexital, benzodiazepines including Xanax, Ativan, and Versed, buprenorphine including Suboxone, Zubsolv, and Bunavail, cocaine, fentanyl, norfentanyl, methamphetamine, morphine, oxycodone, phencyclidine (PCP), and EDDP, which is a methadone metabolite. The Man Cave does not test for THC (marijuana). The Man Cave also reserves the right to administer breath or saliva tests for alcohol when deemed necessary. I understand that refusal to submit to testing, a confirmed positive result for any substance prohibited under this policy, or any attempt to alter or tamper with a test sample will result in the immediate termination of my application process or employment and may lead to further action as permitted by law. By signing, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to comply fully with this policy.
Non-Compete Agreement.

While employed by The Man Cave, located at 800 Fayette Avenue, Belle Vernon, PA 15012, you are prohibited from performing barbering, cosmetology, or any related grooming services for compensation at any barbershop, salon, or similar business within a 15-mile radius of our location. This restriction applies for the full duration of your employment and remains in effect until the day your employment with The Man Cave officially ends. This restriction is absolute, and no exceptions will be made for part-time work, helping out another shop, volunteering, renting a chair elsewhere, providing mobile or home-based services, or working under another business name within the restricted area while on our payroll. Additionally, while employed, you are strictly prohibited from soliciting, encouraging, or arranging for any current, former, or prospective client of The Man Cave to receive services from you or another business outside of The Man Cave. You are also prohibited from disclosing, copying, or retaining any client contact information, appointment history, preferences, or personal details for any reason not directly related to your duties at The Man Cave. Taking, removing, or using any tools, equipment, retail products, or other property belonging to The Man Cave for personal use or outside business purposes without explicit written authorization is also strictly forbidden. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination and may lead to legal action to recover damages and protect our business interests. By signing, you acknowledge that you fully understand and agree to these restrictions, and that any deviation, regardless of intent or interpretation, will be considered a violation.
