Important Notes for Field Experience Programs

Travel abroad may require a visa. Please remember that Global Engagement does not issue or process visas. Check the embassy website of your destination country for the most up-to-date visa and travel requirements. You can also review international travel guidance from the U.S. State Department.

After the application deadline, applications and eligibility (academic, judicial and financial) will be reviewed. Students will be notified if they are accepted, waitlisted, or not accepted into a Chatham Field Experience.

If accepted, you will be asked to submit the following by the deadline provided:
- A copy of your valid passport (or proof that you’ve applied for one)
- A signed participation contract
- A $1,000 program deposit
- Health history, health insurance, and emergency contact form
