Nicaragua - 4-8 Weeks Summer Internship

Spend 4-8 weeks serving in Nicaragua through our summer internship. You’ll help in the after-school program, teach English, and share God’s love with kids—both in the program and on the streets. During the internship, you will assist with the Estelí church plant, live and learn with Eden, Emma, and Gabrielle, and be discipled by them. Together, we’ll welcome and serve visiting teams, dive into language learning, travel, and experience the beauty of Nicaraguan culture—all while doing ministry as one united team.

Nicaragua - June, July/August Anyone Trip

Hillside is offering trips to Nicaragua in June, July, and August. This trip is open to anyone who wants to come, families, couples, singles. The teams will be a max of 10 people. Our team will primarily serve at the clinic, engaging with students through English-learning activities, playing games, and supporting both the staff and students. Along the way, we’ll be immersed in Nicaraguan culture—experiencing the language, food, and local sights. We’ll also take part in service projects around the school property, travel to Estelí, and partner with Eden & Emma’s church, Communidad La Barca. Click NEXT to fill out an interest form.

Spain - 2026 

Hillside wants to send another team to Malaga, Spain, home to missionaries Scott and Amy Tipton. Scott and Amy have been serving in Spain for 6 years. They have a heart for face-to-face ministry and discipleship and evangelism through creative media projects in native languages. This trip will be coming along side Scott and Amy, offering encouragement and support in their day to day activities. Uganda - 2026

Hillside wants to send another team to Uganda. Yumbe, Uganda is home to missionary Luke Runyon who has been serving in Africa for over 20 years. Luke is currently in Northern Uganda where he empowers local pastors to receive an education through the program Theological Education by Extension (T.E.E.). The team will also visit Christ Care Medical Center (CCMC) located in Lira, Uganda. Hillside has began partnering with CCMC, a clinic that offers physical and spiritual healing to its community.
