Every shade in our Rooted in BC Collection is named after a BC hometown, community, or city.

 

This is for you if:

✔ You love your hometown and want to share why it’s special

✔ You enjoy connecting with your community (online & offline)

✔ You believe in safe, clean beauty that performs

✔ You LOVE supporting small, Canadian, women led businesses.

As a Town Ambassador, you’ll represent your community, share its story, and help us spread MisMacK magic far and wide.

We’re looking for passionate people across British Columbia to represent their hometown, community, or city as part of our ROOTED IN BC campaign.

As a Town Ambassador, you’ll help share the stories, the spirit, and the shades that make your hometown unique — all while representing MisMacK Clean Cosmetics, an award-winning clean beauty brand proudly made in Canada.

 

NOTE: Applying does not mean you are an ambassador. This is an application process. Applications close Aug 31st and Town Ambassador will be chosen mid September 2025

What we ask from you:

You’ll share your connection to your town, post about MisMacK and the Rooted in BC Collection, and bring the campaign to life in your community, with full support from us.

 

Content expectations for the 3-month term:

📅 Monthly Minimums:

3–4 main feed posts per month (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
4–6 stories per month
1 reel/video per month
📸 Types of content:

Product-focused looks featuring you wearing/using MisMacK products
Hometown pride posts showing your community with MisMacK products
Reposts of MisMacK content with your personal touch

🎯 Engagement:

Use hashtags: #RootedInBC #MisMacK #MisMacKCleanCosmetics #MisMacKAmbassador 

Respond to comments and DMs about your ambassador content when possible

Commitment:

This is a 3-month agreement, renewable in 3-month intervals based on performance and mutual agreement. (The first round will be active till Dec 31, 2025)

Eligibility:

The Rooted in BC Town Ambassador Program is currently open only to residents of towns, cities, and communities already featured in our ART Shadows Collection.
This ensures each ambassador can proudly represent the shade named after their hometown and share its story authentically.

If your community isn’t in the collection yet, don’t worry!
We’ll be opening nominations for new towns in future phases of Rooted in BC. So keep your eyes peeled and your hometown ready.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must currently live in, work in, or have strong personal ties to one of the BC towns/cities/communities already represented in the MisMacK ART Shadows Collection.
You must be able to authentically represent your community in photos, videos, and events.
You must be 19+ years of age
Note: If your community is not yet represented in our collection, you are not eligible for this round, but we encourage you to follow along and be ready to apply in future phases when new towns are added.

 

If you’re ready to represent your hometown with pride and help us spread the ROOTED IN BC movement across the province, we’d love for you to apply.

Section 7: Conflict of Interest

As a Rooted in BC Town Ambassador, you agree to act in the best interest of MisMacK Clean Cosmetics and the Rooted in BC campaign throughout your term.

A conflict of interest is any situation where your personal, financial, or professional interests could compromise, or appear to compromise, your ability to represent MisMacK objectively and positively.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

Promoting, endorsing, or representing another clean cosmetics brand or direct competitor during your ambassador term.
Accepting payment, gifts, or free products from brands or companies that directly compete with MisMacK Clean Cosmetics in the makeup, skincare, or sports colour cosmetics categories.
Using ambassador privileges, discounts, or insider information for personal profit, resale, or for the benefit of another competing brand.
Sharing confidential brand information, internal communications, or non-public campaign details with any third party.
You agree to:

Disclose any existing or potential conflicts of interest to MisMacK Clean Cosmetics before accepting the ambassador role or as soon as they arise during your term.
Refrain from engaging in any activities that could be reasonably perceived as a conflict of interest during your 3-month term without prior written consent from MisMacK.
Failure to disclose a conflict of interest or engaging in conflicting activities may result in immediate termination of your ambassador role.
