Parent / Guardian Waiver & Release of Liability

WARNING - THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

By signing below, you waive certain legal rights and assume responsibility as outlined herein.

1. Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks

I understand that participation in any activity, event, or interaction involving inflatable amusement devices, bounce houses, slides, photo booths, games, or other equipment and services provided by the Company involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to: Collisions with other participants; improper landings, falls, or ejections from equipment; Trips, slips, or falls on grass, pavement, cords, hoses, or stakes; entanglement; Strains, sprains, broken bones, dental injuries, concussions; cuts, bruises, burns, eye injuries; Heat-related illness, dehydration; insect stings; minor allergic reactions; splinters; Weather hazards (wind, rain, lightning); Equipment malfunction or failure; Incidents during setup, operation, supervision, maintenance, or removal of equipment; and, in rare cases, serious injury or death.

These risks may result from my child's own actions, the actions of others, the condition or placement of equipment, environmental conditions, or the active or passive negligence of the Company or its representatives.

2. Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks, both known and unknown, including those arising from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by Washington State law.

3. Rules of Use 

Weight Limit: Combined participant weight shall not exceed the posted limit for the unit.

Age/Size Separation: Participants of significantly different size/age will not use equipment together.

Prohibited Actions: No flips, somersaults, wrestling, climbing on walls, or sliding backwards.

Prohibited Items: No shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, gum, or glasses inside inflatables.

Weather Safety: Equipment will not be used in winds above posted limits, during rain, or unsafe conditions.

Supervision: A responsible adult will monitor participants at all times.

Water Use: Only permitted on units specifically approved for wet use.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release, waive, and discharge Puget Sound Party Supply, its owners, members, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, landlords, municipalities, event hosts, venues, property owners, equipment manufacturers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action for injury, loss, or damage arising out of or related to my child's participation or any interaction with Company equipment or services, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of the Company or otherwise.

5. Responsibility for Others

I accept full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss caused by my child(ren) or any participant(s) under my supervision to other persons or property.

6. Medical Authorization & Insurance Disclosure

In the event of injury, I authorize the Company to obtain emergency medical care for my child and agree to be responsible for all associated costs. I understand the Company maintains commercial liability and limited accident medical coverage for certain incidents, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of those policies. I acknowledge: This coverage is not health insurance;It may be denied if injury results from It is secondary to my personal insurance; prohibited or unsafe use.

7. Idemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, liabilities, or expenses brought on behalf of my child(ren) or any other participant under my supervision - including if my child later brings a claim after reaching legal age.

8. Weather & Safety Conditions

The Company may stop or cancel use of the equipment at any time if unsafe conditions arise, including high winds, rain, lightning, or unsafe surfaces. If unsafe conditions occur before participation begins, the event host may reschedule or receive a credit toward a future rental. If unsafe conditions occur after participation begins, the event will end immediately for safety reasons. In such cases, no cash refund will be issued; only a credit toward a future rental will be provided to the event host.

9. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

10. Media Release (optional) 

I grant permission for the use of my child's image in Company marketing materials, unless I provide written notice otherwise.
