Renter / Event Host Agreement & Release of Liability

By signing below, you waive certain legal rights and assume responsibility as outlined herein.

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

I understand that renting, transporting, installing, using, supervising, or allowing others to use inflatable amusement devices, bounce houses, slides, photo booths, games, or other event equipment provided by the Company involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Collisions, improper landings, falls, or ejections from equipment; Trips, slips, or falls on grass, pavement, cords, hoses, or stakes; entanglement; Strains, sprains, broken bones, dental injuries, concussions; cuts, bruises, burns, eye injuries; Heat-related illness, dehydration; insect stings; minor allergic reactions; splinters; Weather hazards (wind, rain, lightning); Equipment malfunction or failure; Injuries during loading, unloading, setup, operation, maintenance, or removal of equipment; and, in rare cases, serious injury or death.

These risks may result from participant actions, other persons' actions, environmental conditions, the condition or placement of equipment, or the active or passive negligence of the Company.

2. Responsibility for Supervision & Safety I accept full responsibility for:

1) Supervising all participants at all times while equipment is in use.

2) Ensuring rules of use are followed by all participants, including: weight limits, age/size separation, no flips/somersaults/wrestling/climbing walls/sliding backwards; no shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, gum, or glasses in inflatables; monitoring weather and halting use in winds above posted limits, rain, or unsafe surfaces; water use only on approved "wet" units.

3) Preventing unsafe use by spectators, bystanders, or non-participants.

3. Condition & Placement of Equipment

Equipment was delivered in good condition and inspected at setup. I am responsible for keeping it in safe condition during the rental period. Equipment must remain staked or weighted per Company instructions and used only on level, safe surfaces. I will not relocate or alter the setup without Company approval. I will immediately notify the Company if any defect or unsafe condition arises.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Puget Sound Party Supply, its owners, members, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, landlords, municipalities, event hosts, venues, property owners, equipment manufacturers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action for injury, loss, or damage arising out of or related to the rental, delivery, installation, use, supervision, or removal of equipment, whether caused by the active or passive negligence of the Company or otherwise.

5. Idemnification 

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and attorney's fees arising from: injuries or damages to participants, spectators, or third parties; damage to property during the rental period; violations of this agreement or safety rules; and any claim brought by a participant or their representative, including minors once they reach legal age.

6. Damage, Loss, or Theft

I am financially responsible for: any damage to equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow rules; full replacement cost for lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged equipment; and additional cleaning fees for prohibited items inside inflatables.

7. Medical Authorization & Insurance Disclosure

In the event of injury, I authorize the Company to obtain emergency medical care and agree to be responsible for all associated costs. I understand the Company maintains commercial liability and limited accident medical coverage for certain incidents, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of those policies. I acknowledge: this coverage is not health insurance; it is secondary to my own personal or event insurance; and coverage may be denied if injury results from prohibited or unsafe use

8. Setup & Weather Cancellations (Credit Only)

The Company may refuse or cancel setup if conditions are unsafe (wind, rain, unsuitable surface, hazards If unsafe conditions arise before setup, the renter may reschedule or receive a credit toward a future rental. If unsafe conditions arise after setup due to weather or site changes beyond the Company's control, the rental will end immediately for safety reasons. In such cases, the renter will receive a credit for the remaining unused time, redeemable toward a future rental, but no cash refund will be issued.

9. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
