  • Spirit of the MACY Awards 2025-2026 Entry Application

    Application Fee: $350 per show

    REGISTRATION DEADLINES:

    Fall Show: October 17, 2025

    Spring Show: January 16, 2026

    Happy New School Year!  We are excited for our 56th year recognizing excellence in high school musical theater. MACY Day will be held at Cerritos Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 23, 2026.  We are also planning on again participating in the NHSMTA (The Jimmy's) in June of 2026.

    This JotForm is the only method of registration. REMEMBER --We can only judge 2 shows per school, per school year. This year you need to fill out a separate jotform for each show. You can also find the sign-up form on our website at www.themacyawards.com.

    We are an Orange County based high school organization. We honor the students enrolled in high school. If you have any adults or children in your cast, even if in a lead role, they will not be adjudicated nor will they receive any awards. 

    We prefer Paypal or Zelle but if a check is your only option, you can mail checks to Stan Wlasick (see address below).

    Last date for judging shows will be May 3, 2026.  If the only dates your show will run falls after May 3rd, please contact Stan Wlasick to see if an exception can be made.

    Invitations to perform at MACY day and invitations to Call Backs will be sent to the directors by Tuesday, May 5, 2026.  Due to the closure of The Rose Center Theater, the dates for the Callback Workshop and Callbacks have not been finalized. Dates and location information will be published as as a venue is secured. 

    The fee this year is $350.00 which includes: adjudication of your show, 17 tickets to our awards show (15 student and 2 Adult Chaperones (a value of at least $25 x 17= $425), scholarship eligibility for your students and all awards, trophies and medals.

    Once you have submitted your application, Stan Wlasick will be in contact with you to set up a date for your adjudication and a few other details.

    Invoices: this year you will get a receipt after you submit this form. This is your invoice to submit to your school or booster club for payment.
