Director
The driving force behind the committee, responsible for leading the dais team both prior to and during the conference, the Director has the largest amount of responsibility within the dais team. The Director is responsible for facillitating communication between the Secretariat and the rest of their dais team, acting as a bridge throughout the conference preparation process. In the months leading up to the conference, the Director is primarily responsible for leading their dais team in the background guide writing process, delegating tasks and responsible for ensuring internal deadlines are met. During the conference, the Director is responsible for reading position papers, ensuring debate progresses at an acceptable pace, editing working papers, and finalizing awards.
Chair
Working closely alongside the Director and Assistant Director, the Chair moderates debate throughout committee sessions, maintaining decorum amongst delegates. The Chair interacts the most with the delgates, supporting them directly and providing them with feedback for improvement. In addition to helping the Director write the background guide, the Chair is also responsible for explaining and observing to the Rules of Procedure, and running ChairMUN.
Assistant Director
Responsible for filling in the gaps within a dais team, the Assistant Director serves to aid both the Director and Chair in their tasks, providing the necessary support the dais team needs to function. In addition to helping the Director write the background guide prior to the conference, the Assistant Director commonly aids the Chair in moderating debate. Common responsibilities of an Assistant Director include passing around notes, monitoring bloc formation, and taking notes on delegate speeches.
