Holy Family St. Lawrence & St. Pius X Parishes 2025-2026
We’re excited to welcome your family to Faith Formation 2025–2026 in the Essex Catholic Community! Please complete this form to register your child(ren) for our program.

Registering early helps us plan well, ordering textbooks, finalizing class lists, and preparing for a great year ahead. You’ll find details below about class schedules, opening day, and sacramental preparation requirements.

Weekly Sunday classes are held 9:30–10:45 AM at Holy Family Parish Hall.

Grades 1–5 begin September 7 with a Family Brunch & Orientation, followed by Mass.
Grade 6 (Confirmation Prep) begins October 12 and requires completion of Grades 1–5.

Our “hybrid” model combines weekly grade-level classes with several family events (Praxis sessions) throughout the year, including prayer services, service projects, and community-building activities.

Grades 1–2: Preparation for First Reconciliation & First Eucharist
Grade 6: Preparation for Confirmation
Tuition: $45 per child (scholarships available)
Baptismal Certificates: Required for all Grade 2 & Grade 6 students, even if baptized at HFSL or SPX

Circle of Grace
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that, parents are the primary educators in matters of faith. The Diocese of Burlington requires that all Faith Formation programs offer the Circle of Grace which is a safe environment program for children and youth that is designed for use both in Catholic schools and in parish religious education programs. Circle of Grace’s curriculum is steeped in the truths of the Catholic faith and provides a holistic approach to the safety, well-being, and spiritual formation of children and youth.
