DURING THE EVENT
During the event, we ask you to please be courteous to those around you. We will have 3-4 designated places to stop along the routes. These stops are not only to enjoy the views and socialize, but also to allow our large groups to gather back together to move safely across various public roadways, keep rigs close in an area. We understand they may seem excessive to some, but we promise there are reasons.
We have one stop designated midway through the ride for lunch.
To ensure the ride moves along efficiently please do not stop in an undesignated area or go off the designated trails. Do not drive through any farmer's crops or hay fields. STAY ON THE TRAILS or within the designated stopping areas. If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly and do not drink and drive.
At the end of each stop you will hear an air horn indicating it's time to move along; 1 horn blast is a 5 minute warning, 2 horn blasts means it's time to go.
Pick up your trash. If it goes out with you, it comes back with you.
If you need any help at any time during the ride, LA Communications crew members, landowners, and those helping with the ride will be marked and noted in the driver meeting and the rigs. If any issues arise during the ride your rig number will be used to identify you. In the event there are issues you may be escorted to the nearest law enforcement officer and be asked to not return next year.
Special shoutout to the members of the City, County and Law enforcement for helping put on this event to and huge shout out to our volunteers for their help as well.
If you see a volunteer or landowner be sure to thank them as this would not be possible without them. Special shoutout to the members of the Allamakee County ATV/UTV club and other volunteers for their help as well.
