Composer-in-Residence Application

We are delighted to invite musicians from around the world to Orvieto, Italy, for an inspiring summer of chamber music. To be considered for participation in Orvieto Musica, please complete the application form below.

Applicants are required to submit the following materials:

• Two contrasting works (see Recording Guidelines below)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume
• Letter of Recommendation (submitted by you or a nominated contact)

Recording Guidelines:
Applicants must submit two contrasting works, totaling no more than 15 minutes. While there are no specific repertoire requirements, we encourage applicants to present diverse musical styles in their selections. Recordings should be uploaded to YouTube (either unlisted or public) or submitted as MP3 files. You may submit either one or two video links, or MP3 files as an alternative.

The application process is expected to take approximately 10–15 minutes. Should you have any questions, please contact our enrollment team at admin@orvietomusica.org.

Submit two contrasting works (up to 15 minutes total). PDF scores may be accompanied by live or MIDI recordings, or shared via YouTube (unlisted or public). One or two links may be submitted. No required instrumentation—variety is encouraged.

By submitting this application, I understand that my participation in Orvieto Musica is not confirmed until I complete the Official Registration Form and submit my program deposit. This is a preliminary application.
