Twin Valley-Gary Area Community Fund and Joseph Urdahl Memorial Fund
The Twin Valley-Gary Area Community Fund and the Joseph Urdahl Memorial Fund are funds in the family of funds at Northwest Minnesota Foundation. Grant applications in support of charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Twin Valley-Gary area will be considered. This year, there is a preference for projects that support Health & Wellness. Grant applications are due by October 31st, 2025. The Twin Valley-Gary area is further defined as the area covered by the Norman County East School District. The Twin Valley area includes the townships of Lake Ida, Wild Rice, Flom, Fossum, Rockwell, and Home Lake townships; the Gary area includes the townships of Waukon, Strand, Green Meadow, Spring Creek, Sundal, and Bear Park.
