  • Carbon crediting is based on the premise that ranches are making practice changes that they would have otherwise not done in the absence of a carbon project. The sooner and more meaningful the practice change made, the best chance you have to maximize the credits that will be generated on your land.

    As part of the GRC program, ranchers are required to implement one or more of the following changes to grazing practices at a minimum in year 1, as compared to your practices in the past 3-5 years of management:
