Fate of Britain Convention, 11th Sept.
Thank you for getting your ticket. Help co-create the experience on the day.
On the day between 2-3pm we're looking at 'breakout sessions' for people to select from. Which of these would you MOST be drawn to do/attend? (We're likely to have space for 4 although there's also some chance of 'Open Space' conversations.)
Taster session for 'Shaping a People's Charter' with Our House
Taster session on running 'Recipes of Love' workshops with Humanity Project and Haringey Food Network
A deeper conversation with one or two others you've met during the day in a comfy Public Living Room from The Camerados
Taster session for pitching your work on video
Creative session looking at envisioning futures
Building an intergenerational movement
A collective power-mapping exercise with 6-8 others from connected orgs
None of these
If you've got another idea or think something's missing, can you give us a very brief outline here:
On the day we'll be centring the life stories of people in the room so we can really get to know each other as fellow human beings. It's not too long (3-4 minutes) that helps us all go below the surface of who we are, rather than what we do. (Guidelines for safety and not oversharing will be given!) Most will be shared only with two other people in small triangles. But one group of three will 'model' these in front of the room. Would you be willing to share your story more widely?

Is there something specific in your life story that helps us think about the day's theme of our national identity, collective work, and ability to connect with one another?
Would you be interested in volunteering, holding a role (it could be something as simple as signing up to be a chair/table mover!) or getting involved in any other way? If so, please leave your email here!
