I give permission for the named applicant to take part in any activities organised
and supervised in accordance with the Policy Organisation and Rules of the Scout
Association.

I give permission for my child to attend the Jamboree, the selection event, and any associated training and fundraising activities prior to the Jamboree.

I understand that, if successful, my child is committing to attending up to 8 training weekends in preparation for the Jamboree as well as the Jamboree itself, which may result in being away for up to 3 weeks in Summer 2027. Successful candidates will be expected to raise at least a third of the cost of attending the event; they should expect to do this themselves - you should not pay for it. They will also be expected to run evenings and events for groups across the district to inform everyone of their adventure both before and after the jamboree. This is a big commitment that will stretch over more than 2 years. Do not apply if if you are not prepared for this commitment.
