Likewise, after we tithe, the conditions are right for sowing seeds of finances called offerings. God has placed leadership in local churches that represents His authority in the church. When we tithe to the local church God has led us to, we are showing God our submission to His order. Hebrews 13:17 states:*

When we tithe and are faithful to our local church, the anointing of the leadership in that church can flow down upon our lives and bring spiritual strength and growth to us because we have joined our hearts to the calling God has placed upon that particular church and leadership. Psalm 133:1 states:*

11. Offerings constitute our giving because we are taking a portion of what is actually ours after we tithe to do with as we are prayerfully led. Offerings are most often designated by the one giving and should be given into spiritually fruitful places. It is the “seed sown” into “good ground” that we can expect to reap a harvest from. Luke 6:38 says:*

12. Offerings must be given freely and with a “cheerful heart.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 states:*

13. God promises to give seed to those who have a “sower’s heart”. 2 Corinthians9:10 states:*

14. Tithing and offerings must be accomplished with faith in order to see a “harvest”. Faith involves both “believing and speaking” the Word of God. 2 Corinthians 4:13 states:*
