    Register below to take part in a special event at Sherman Creek Park inspired by Jared Fox’s new book Learning Environment. Jared is a former science teacher at Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (WHEELS) - on 182nd street.

    In partnership with local educators and community organizations, we’ll explore how environmental education transforms lives – and then head outdoors for a guided tour of the Living Shoreline.

    📍 Location: Sherman Creek Park – Meet at Riley Levin Children's Garden

    🕐 Schedule (Sat, Aug 30th):

    • 10:00 – 10:55 AM – Learning Environment book conversation & community panel
    • 11:00 – 12:30 PM – Guided shoreline tour and clean-up of Sherman Creek Park
