Goat Kid Reservation Inquiry
Thank you for your interest in a Nigerian Dwarf kid from Sonoran Blonde Ranch & Mercantile.

We raise our babies right here on the ranch with lots of hands-on care, daily interaction, and attention to health, temperament, structure, and dairy quality. Our kids are raised as dairy goats, family companions, 4-H prospects, and future breeding animals — we do not raise or sell our goats for meat.

This form helps us learn a little more about what you’re looking for and what kind of home you can provide so we can make the best possible match.

Reservations are offered based on availability and are confirmed in the order deposits are received. Joining the inquiry list does not guarantee a specific kid, color, sex, or pairing unless a reservation has been confirmed with us directly.  Any deposit funds not used during the respective kidding season may be used in future kidding seasons, for the online shop, farmstand, etc.

Once babies are born and evaluated, we’ll contact families on the list as kids become available.

Purchase Price: 

1) ADGA Registered Doelings/Bucklings: $550-850

2) Unregistered Doelings/Bucklings: $450-550

3) Wethers: $200

Terms & Conditions – Deposit Policy

Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of $200 per goat kid is required to reserve your selection from the upcoming kidding season. Reservations are honored in the order deposits are received.
Non-Refundable Policy: All deposits are non-refundable except in the event The Bohemian Farmstead is unable to provide a goat kid due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., no live birth of desired sex/color/type).

Transfer of Deposit:

If the buyer chooses not to take a goat kid from the current kidding season, the deposit may be:
a. Applied toward the next kidding season, or
b. Used as a store credit toward any Sonoran Blonde Ranch products of the buyer’s choice (e.g., goat milk products, honey, seasonal produce, farm merchandise).
Store credit must be used within 12 months from the date of the original kidding season.
Selection Timeline: Buyers must make their goat kid selection within the time frame provided by Sonoran Blonde Ranch after notification of availability. Failure to do so will result in the deposit being applied to the next kidding season or as store credit, per policy above.
Final Payment & Pickup: Final payment for the goat kid is due in full at the time of pickup. Pickup must be scheduled within the agreed time frame or additional boarding fees may apply.
Health & Care: All goat kids will be healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of transfer. Buyers are responsible for transportation and any subsequent veterinary care.

Wethers are sold only after castration is complete.  

Goat kids can be disbudded prior to being sold at the cost of the buyer.  The Sonoran Blonde Ranch will ensure the kid is up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming at pickup.

Buyer is responsible for safe transport and appropriate housing for goats.
