2025 Leaders Lab Expression of Interest
A Professional Development Program for Arts Leaders & Cultural Changemakers

About the Program:

The Brampton Creative Leaders Lab, is a curated professional development program designed to empower Brampton-based arts leaders and local arts champions. Anchored by a 2-day in-person learning summit, the program supports participants in developing adaptive leadership, and strategic skills while fostering community engagement, collaboration and innovation in the arts.

Key program dates are:
- September 26, 2025, 12-1:30: Cohort Meet and Greet Session, BAO Office
- October 17, 2025, 9:30am – 5pm: Summit Day 1
- October 18, 2025, 10am – 6pm: Summit Day 2
- November 12, 2025, 12pm-1pm: Post-Summit Debrief Session (Virtual)
The 2-day Summit will be held at 401 Richmond Street, West in downtown Toronto.

Evaluation: Throughout the delivery of this program and beyond, participants will be asked to complete feedback surveys, provide testimonials, and participate in conversations about their experiences in the program. Participants may be invited to be part of some or all of these surveys and interviews in order to evaluate the overall eﬀectiveness of the program.

Media & Marketing Release: Please note that the program partners may wish to take photos or screenshots during sessions for promotional and reporting purposes. Additionally, Brampton Arts Organization and Work in Culture's marketing staﬀ will feature the names and headshots of program participants (mentees) and mentors on our program page on the WIC website and as a part of our social media campaigns in order to boost mentees’ and mentors’ proﬁles and also promote the program.
