  • We’re gearing up for the next Mortar Board National Conference, September 25–27, 2026, in Columbus, OH — and we need your help to make it unforgettable! Students, alumni, and national leaders are invited to join the 2026 Planning Team and help shape the experience.

    We’re forming three subcommittees: Host (local), Education & Programming, and Marketing & Engagement. The time commitment is just one hour/month in Fall 2025, two hours/month in Spring & Summer 2026, and weekly meetings in the final lead-up to the event.

  • Planning & Implementation Team Interest

  • The 2026 Conference Planning & Implementation Team will consist of three sub-groups that work to help plan and implement the conference:

    Host 
    Open to Columbus-based members and friends, this team will showcase the best of our host city. Responsibilities include welcoming attendees, coordinating transportation and local recommendations, organizing off-site tours, securing partnerships and sponsors, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring a warm and engaging volunteer experience.

    Education & Programming
    This team will craft the heart of the conference content. Duties include developing the overall schedule, selecting keynote speakers, identifying session topics, securing presenters, and supporting an outstanding presenter experience.

    Marketing & Engagement
    This team will spark excitement before, during, and after the event. Work includes marketing strategy, attendee communications, designing memorable moments, keeping energy high, and adding special touches that enhance the conference experience.
