Myself, (Avril) husband and daughter live with our forever growing pack of Miniature Dachshunds who we quite simply, love unconditionally and live and breathe for. Dachshunds bring us so much joy, they are a truly special breed who offer so much love and want nothing more than snuggling in your bed (well, with the exception of barking maybe.) We are dear, devoted and ethical breeders; having high regards for the breed standard and building the right foundations for our puppies to thrive. Our puppies follow our own in-house socialisation and development programme which is something we are incredibly passionate about. Being huge IVDD screening advocates, all of our girls are screened for IVDD and are extensively laboratory and Veterinarian health tested. We only breed from our girls who have a low scoring intervertebral disc calcification grading (IDC) and those passing their heth tests.

We take great pride in bringing our waiting list along on our pregnancy journeys and cultivate really strong bonds between you, us and our puppies from our daily pictures, videos and updates we create.

  • Please note, Woodlandax only breed recognised and desired colours of the breed standard in accordance with The Kennel Club. Before completing our application, please note we do not export any of our puppies outside of the UK, all of our puppies are endorsed against breeding and you must be over 25 years of age. We like to advise at this stage that our puppies usually range from £2500 - £3500. Our Woodlandax community is something we're incredibly passionate about, all of our puppy families stay in contact with us and attend our annual meet ups when they can. If you're not happy with your breeder being in your life for life, then we are definitely not the breeders for you.
