    Thank you for your interest in joining the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida’s 2025-2026 Media Girlz team!

  • This program is open to Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador-level girl members only.

    Please complete this application in its entirety, including the video submission. Carefully read and then sign the participation requirements and expectations at the end. This includes training and photo shoot dates.

    Completed applications are due by Monday, September 15, at 6:00 p.m.

  • Your e-signature below indicates that you have read and understand these expectations if you are selected to be part of the 2025-2026 team.

    • I understand that I will be selected to participate in Media Girlz opportunities based on my interests, skills, availability, and at the discretion of the GSSEF staff.
    • I understand that I will be required to attend an in-person Media Girlz training session in order to participate in media opportunities throughout the year. This training session will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the GSSEF Administrative Headquarters in Lake Worth.
    • I understand that I will be required to attend the Media Girlz 2025-2026 Team Photo Shoot on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Little Photography in Ft Lauderdale.
    • I understand that active participation is an important part of being a member of the Media Girlz team. It is expected that girls will respond to all communication in a timely manner.
    • I understand that there will be creative briefs, assignments, meetings, or participation opportunities at least quarterly for the Media Girlz team. This will give the team an opportunity to use their skills and contribute to Girl Scouts' marketing efforts. It is the expectation that these assignments are completed in a timely manner and to the best of their ability. If the girl is unable to complete the assignment, it must be communicated to the GSSEF marketing team.
    • I understand that Media Girlz opportunities can take place during the week, on weekends, during school hours, or in the evening.
    • I understand that I may be photographed and/or videotaped by Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida or other media outlets and that my likeness may be used in promotional materials, news releases, social media, and other published formats by GSSEF and/or Girl Scouts of the USA.
    • I understand that all imagery will become the property of GSSEF and will be used to promote Girl Scouting.
    • I understand that I will uphold the values of Girl Scouts and will conduct myself appropriately in all situations.
    • I understand that if I do not follow the requirements and expectations, I may be excused from the Media Girlz team before my term is up.
