    Step 1 – Club Overview, Facility and Current Membership
    This stage of the New Club Application process is focused on clearly communicating your Club’s purpose—why you wish to form a new Club and how it will positively contribute to the football community.

    Some other basic Club details (proposed or current) are requested like logo and proposed name.

    This stage also requires you to confirm your access to a venue where you will be providing football experiences to the community and participating in FV Competitions.

    Lastly it requires that you tell us who your current participants are that you are currently providing football experiences to (if any).

    Your application will be assessed based on the information you provide here, so it is important to be as detailed and thorough as possible.

    Step 1 must be submitted by 12 September 2025.

    To ensure FV can maintain strong working relationships between councils/venue owners and Clubs, a letter of support from the relevant LGA’s Head of Sport and Recreation or equivalent must be included in the application. The letter must also indicate that council approve the proposed name and logo for the New Club as well as a description of the need for a New Club within this area and the period that the facility will be made available to your Club (e.g. every day during February to October)
