1. Vehicle Use Policy
- The company vehicle is to be used for business purposes only, unless prior written authorization is given.
- Personal use of the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
- The vehicle must be operated in a safe, responsible, and lawful manner at all times.
- Only the assigned employee may operate the vehicle.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the company vehicle.
- No passengers are permitted in the vehicle.
- The vehicle is to be kept parked at the TPG Management shop in the driveway at all times when not in use.
2. Maintenance and Condition
- The employee is responsible for reporting any mechanical issues, damage, or incidents immediately.
- The vehicle must be kept clean and fueled regularly.
- Regular maintenance appointments must be adhered to as coordinated by management with the employee.
3. Accidents & Violations
- Any accidents, citations, or violations must be reported to management within 24 hours.
- Employee is responsible for any fines incurred due to personal negligence (e.g., speeding, parking tickets).
- Failure to report incidents may result in disciplinary action.
4. Insurance & Documentation
- The company maintains insurance coverage on all vehicles.
- Employee must maintain a valid driver’s license and notify the company immediately if it becomes suspended or revoked.
5. Termination of Agreement
- The vehicle and any accessories (EZ Pass, gas card, tools) must be returned in good condition upon request or termination of employment.
- Failure to return vehicle or accessories may result in deductions or legal action.
