Girls in Technology Liberia (GITL) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through tuition-free digital literacy training. We are offering internship positions to passionate individuals who want to gain hands-on experience while making a positive impact.

💡 Note: This is an unpaid internship/voluntary position with opportunities for skill-building, mentorship, and recommendation letters. Based on your performance & punctuality at work, we may also consider incorporating you into our team for longer-term opportunities.

Intern/Volunteer Position*

Human Resources Intern/Volunteer: Assist in recruiting and onboarding trainees and volunteers. Maintain attendance, training, HR records and databases.Social Media Intern/Volunteer: Manage and grow GITL’s social media platforms. Create engaging posts, stories, and updates about programs.Fundraising Intern/Volunteer: Support campaigns to raise funds for programs and events. Research and suggest creative fundraising ideas.Donor & Partner Engagement Intern/Volunteer: Assist in communicating with donors and partners. Help prepare thank-you letters, reports, and updates.Administrative Assistant Intern/Volunteer: Support daily office tasks and keep the workspace organized and clean. Handle basic correspondence and filing.Design Intern/Volunteer: Create flyers, banners, and other visuals for events and social media. Assist with branding and presentation designs.Creative Intern/Volunteer: Develop fresh ideas for campaigns, events, and community engagement. Work with the design and communications teams to bring concepts to life.Communications Intern/Volunteer: Draft announcements, newsletters, and press releases. Assist with documenting events and success stories.Program Support Intern/Volunteer: Assist trainers during classes. Help prepare materials and guide trainees when needed.Grant Intern/Volunteer: Research grant opportunities and assist in drafting proposals, budgets, and reports for institutional donors or foundations.Finance & Procurement Intern: Assist with bookkeeping, expense tracking, and procurement tasks such as sourcing and quotations.IT Intern – Assist with troubleshooting computer issues, internet connectivity, and system setups. Maintain and update all training and staff computers, printers, and routers, while also providing IT support to partners when needed.
