3. Hold Harmless and Release of Liability
The Foster understands that animals may be unpredictable and may cause injury or damage. The Foster agrees to hold harmless and release Fluffy Butts Rescue, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with fostering, including but not limited to injury to persons, pets, or property.
The Foster acknowledges that they are fostering at their own risk and assume full responsibility for incidents that may occur while the animal is in their care.
4. Foster-to-Adopt and Adoption Trials
Fluffy Butts Rescue, Inc. does not conduct "foster-to-adopt" or "trial adoptions." All foster placements are considered temporary, and any intent to adopt must be formally communicated through the standard adoption process and approved in writing.
5. Termination and Return of Animal
The Foster agrees to return the animal to the Rescue upon request or if they are no longer able to provide care.
If the Foster initiates termination, they agree to continue housing the animal until a replacement foster is secured, unless it is unsafe to do so.
Fosters may not abandon the animal, relinquish it to a shelter, or transfer care to any other party without written approval.
