Letter of Intent South West Theatre Conference
DEADLINE: March 1, 2026.
South West Theatre conference (SWTC) will take place April 10 – 11, 2026, in Carlsbad, NM. Theatres from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas will gather to present plays that will be adjudicated by theatre professionals. SWTC will also have workshops and networking events throughout the weekend. This conference does not advance to nationals, but it is a great opportunity to work on shows for festival years. Awards will be given.
Oklahoma has been invited to send 2 productions this year. Each company must meet the regular OCTAFest guidelines. If your company is interested in attending SWTC this spring, please fill out the form. We are working on setting up a time to see your production in your home space and give feedback before SWTC.
** Any amateur theatre company organized for at least one year prior to the state festival, which has produced at least two shows prior to the state festival entry, is eligible to enter the festival process. Theatres may showcase other productions with the permission of the Festival Chair.
