OMT Certification Grant Application for Physicians

Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
As part of the ACOFP Foundation's Initial Certification Grant program, we are pleased to announce a call for applications for OMT Certification. Physicians who completed initial certification within the last 10 years who did not take the practical exam are eligible for up to $1,000 in funding to complete this portion of the exam. These funds will cover OMT exam fees and up to $500 in travel costs. Partial grants may be awarded.

The application deadline is Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Please note: Applicants must register for the exam separately through AOBFP. The following application is just for the OMT Certification Grant subsidy.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be an ACOFP member. Not a member? Join now.
- Take the AOBFP OMT (practical) exam.
- Submit proof of payment of certification fees and travel expense report form.
- Not receive financial support from their employer sufficient to cover the entire cost of the AOBFP exam and travel. Partial grants may be awarded.
- Submit completed W-9 form.
