Clarice (Lead Role): A sweet and imaginative young girl who receives a magical nutcracker on Christmas Eve. She journeys through many lands and meets enchanting characters along the way. Clarice is graceful, brave, full of wonder, and dances all styles of dance.
Prince: The heroic Nutcracker who comes to life to defend Clarice and defeat the Mouse Queen. He is brave, noble, and graceful, performing strong and elegant dances. An all around role that combines technical skill with charm and stage presence.
Mouse Queen: The bold leader of the mice who battles the Nutcracker and his soldiers. She is dramatic, powerful, and commands the stage with fierce energy. A strong hip hop character role with plenty of personality.
Sugar Plum Fairy: The elegant and dainty ruler of the Kingdom of Sweets. She welcomes Clarice and performs a graceful, dazzling dance to celebrate her arrival. A ballet role that combines poise, charm, and technical brilliance.
Snow Queen: The majestic ruler of the Land of Snow who guides Clarice on her journey. She leads the snowflakes in a shimmering, graceful dance. A intermediate ballet/ pointe role full of elegance, strength, and winter magic.
Drosselmeyer: A mysterious and magical toymaker who brings the Nutcracker to life. Drosselmeyer is charming, eccentric, and full of surprises. This contemporary role blends drama, charisma, and a touch of magic.
Night Creatures: Mischievous and shadowy figures that appear in Clarice’s dream. They move in mystery, adding excitement and suspense to the story. A character role full of dramatic energy and flair.
Rain Forest Queen: A vibrant and enchanting ruler who brings the beauty and mystery of the rainforest to life. She commands the stage with graceful, flowing movements and tropical flair. A contemporary role filled with elegance, strength, and charm.
African Queen: A bold and radiant character representing the richness and rhythm of African culture. She leads a dynamic, powerful dance full of energy and spirit. A role that showcases strength, confidence, and vibrant movement.
Clarice’s Parents: Warm and loving figures who host the Christmas Eve celebration. They create a magical and joyful atmosphere for Clarice’s adventure. Supporting roles that add charm, elegance, and family warmth to the story.
Claudia: A kind and caring figure in Clarice’s family, helping create the magic of Christmas Eve. She adds warmth and charm to the celebration. A supporting role full of grace and festive spirit.
Fritz: Clarice’s mischievous younger brother who loves to play tricks. He adds humor and energy to the Christmas Eve celebration. A playful supporting role full of charm and lively movement.
Liability Waiver: In consideration of your acceptance of the enrollment, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby waive, release, and forever discharge all rights and claims against Crystal’s World of DANCE, and/or involved staff for damages or injury sustained by me or my child while in classes or on studio premises before or after class, or at any other studio activities including but not limited to recitals, workshops, camps, intensives, competitions, performances, and visits to surrounding community businesses. I authorize and agree to hold harmless Crystal’s World of DANCE, to obtain medical emergency assistance when they deem necessary and for Crystal’s World of DANCE, to provide transportation to receive such medical assistance for myself and/or my child named below. I further agree to be financially responsible for all medical services provided to me and/or my child named below, including the cost of defense and enforcement of this indemnity agreement. I understand and agree that Crystal’s World of DANCE and staff may administer first aid on Crystal’s World of DANCE premises in the event of minor injuries. Guardians will be notified if basic first aid is provided to any child. I authorize Crystal’s World of DANCE, to use photos taken of me or my child while at dance or dance functions for marketing and promotional materials, including website. I acknowledge that my child may be videotaped for educational and performance purposes only, including but not limited to recital(s).Please note that Crystal’s World of DANCE, agrees to not make public or resell any private information provided to it by students and their families. I have read the foregoing Studio Waiver and agree with it in all respects. I acknowledge that I have READ, UNDERSTAND, and AGREE TO ABIDE BY all “Crystal’s World of DANCE Studio Policies” and all Registration, Tuition and Recital Policies”.
