  • Westlake Choral Programme

    There are four choirs in the WGHS Choral Programme for 2026. Each singer will be offered a place in the choir that best suits their current skill level and ability.

  • Kotahi Voices - Westlake Girls Allcomers Choir

    Nota Bella - Westlake Girls Junior Choir (Year 9/10)

    Cigno Voce - Westlake Girls Senior Choir (Year 11-13)

    Cantare - Westlake Girls Premier Choir

    Choralation - Westlake Girls and Boys Premier Mixed Voices Choir

  • Senior Audition Information

    These auditions will be held on Wednesday 10 September and Thursday 11 September, at the Music Department at Westlake Girls. Please book a 5 minute audition time slot below. Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes before your audition time. You will sign in with our music administrator Ms Lui, and then warm up before being called into the audition room. Please note that singers must audition on their own. Friends and parents will be asked to wait outside.

  • Your 5 minute audition will involve:

    1. A range test (you will be guided to sing up and down your vocal range)
    2. An ear test (you will be asked to sing a specific note within a chord)
    3. A sing through of the audition piece. Everyone will sing the same piece. 

    The audition piece this year is The Sally Gardens. You can download the sheet music below. To aid your learning of the piece, feel free to use this video: https://youtu.be/RWMe5oAASuQ

    We have provided the piece in the key of Dmajor, but feel free to sing in any key.
