    Final numbers must be confirmed by the week ending 30 January 2026. Invoices will be issued to the school bursar week commencing 2 February 2026, and payment is required within 7 days. Invoices can be issued earlier on request (same payment terms apply).

  • Please note: Some venues have limited spaces for wheelchair access. If your group's access requirements change after you have sent in your request, contact schoolbookings@adelaidefestival.com.au as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate the request.

  • Booking Details

    Please note: the minimum requirement to qualify for school group booking prices is 4 students and 1 teacher (5 total). For groups smaller than this, bookings can be made online. Reservations will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings for the full Adelaide Festival 2026 program will be available from the launch on Monday 27th October.
  • Home schooling Groups

    Adelaide Festival will require a copy of accreditation from the Department of Education for any home school booking requests. Once accreditation is provided, school group ticket pricing will apply. If accreditation cannot be provided, tickets will be issued at the relevant rate - i.e., adult and full-time students.
  • Complimentary Teacher Ticket Ratio

    Complimentary Teacher Tickets will be provided based on the number of student tickets purchased, as per the following ratio:

    Preschool - Year 2 1 Complimentary Teacher Ticket per 6 Students or part thereof
    Years 3-6 1 Complimentary Teacher Ticket per 10 Students or part thereof
    Years 7-12 1 Complimentary Teacher Ticket per 15 Students or part thereof

    Additional teachers/adults may accompany the group and will be charged at the Friends of the Festival price for that performance.

      1. School Group Bookings must be made on this booking form and submitted direct to Adelaide Festival. Phone bookings will not be accepted.

      2. Bookings will be processed in order of receipt and all bookings are subject to availability regardless of when booking form is received.

      3. Adelaide Festival will confirm via email back to the teacher contact that seats (subject to availability) have been placed on reservation after which the following process will apply;

        1. Final numbers to be confirmed by the week ending 30 January 2026.

        2. Invoices will be issued via email to school bursar week commencing 2 February 2026, and payment must be received in full within 7 days.

        3. You will not receive tickets until payment is received in full. Tickets will be issued and sent via post to the mailing address entered in this booking form. Please ensure the postal address for the school is listed on the booking form, as this may differ from the street address.

        4. Cancellations or reduction in attendance numbers is not permitted once invoice has been issued.

        5. Increase to attendance numbers may be possible subject to availability, however must be arranged in advance and not on the day of performance. Additional tickets must be paid for via credit card over the phone.

      4. No refunds will be offered unless in the event of a cancelled performance. Tickets are sold in accordance with the Ticketing Code of Practice issued by the governing body Live Performance Australia.

      5. Adelaide Festival takes great effort to provide information to schoools regarding triggers, confronting subject matter and the use of performance special effects (theatrical smoke, strobe lighting, loud noises etc). Please be advised that at the time of the guide going to print, Adelaide Festival may not be aware of all specific show warnings, but will update teachers if further relevant information becomes available.

      6. All attendees will be required to comply with all SA Government and venue directions in place at the time of the event in relation to public health orders. If additional conditions apply to your attendance, Adelaide Festival will use all reasonable efforts to communicate these requirements prior to the event.

      7. Students and teachers must sit in their allocated seats as indicated on their ticket and/or directed by venue management.

      8. For General Admission (GA) events, school groups are encouraged to arrive early at the venue in order to be seated together.

      9. To expedite the entry process, students are asked not to bring backpacks or valuables with them to venues. Any backpacks or bags that accompany students will need to be left in the venue foyer, and are left at students’ own risk.

      10. As a condition of submitting this form, teacher contact and school details will be added to the Adelaide Festival education database for future communication distribution.

      11. All bookings are subject to the Adelaide Festival Terms & Conditions of Sale.
