• EPFR Annual Barbecue Volunteer Sign Up

    Thank you for choosing to volunteer for our annual barbecue! Fill out the form below to sign up. For any inquiries, please email Alley Arnold, at allysonarnold5022@gmail.com, or text her at 252-902-7735. Beside each sign up is a brief description of what you'd be signing up for, but more instruction will be provided the day of the barbecue. Feel free to sign up for more than one area/shift. All volunteers get a free plate after their shift!

  • November 1, 2025, at Eastern Pines Fire-Rescue

    📍5473 Eastern Pines Rd, Greenville, NC, 27858

  • Plate assembly includes stations of plating the barbecue, potatoes, and coleslaw, putting the hushpuppies and silverware in the plate, and bagging the plates up to hand to the runners.  It's first-come, first-served for which station you're on. 

  • Cook potatoes and hushpuppies, make coleslaw, and chop barbecue.

  • Runners take the bags of plates to the drive-thru lines. We have a total of 4 lines, 3 at the station, and one across the street at the Water Corporation.  

  • Fill cups with ice, pour tea or water into the cups, line them up on the table, and/or hand them out.

  • Package desserts in dessert trays and line them up on the table. 

  • Monitor the dessert table and tell people what kind of desserts we have, then direct them to the pay station for payment.

  • Wash the dishes as they come into the kitchen.

  • Clean the eating area, assembly lines, kitchen, and pits by washing and breaking down tables, as well as organizing everything.
