New Vendor Interest Form

Mahalo for your interest in being a vendor at the JCCH Craft & Collectibles Fair. Hosted on the second Saturday of each month, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, our family-friendly outdoor event showcases local small business vendors, with a focus on Japanese and Japanese-inspired items.

To formalize your interest as a vendor, please complete the information below and submit the form no later than three weeks before the date of the fair you plan to participate in. Our Gift Shop staff will respond to you as soon as possible.

Please note: A completed form does not guarantee you a space at our event. Booth spaces are limited. You may be added to a waitlist until a space becomes available.

Terms of Vendor Participation

• Payments to the JCCH are nonrefundable.
• Space and tables are curated by the Gift Shop Manager. Layout and table assignments are subject to change.
• Vendor set-up begins at 7:00 AM (not any earlier). Booths must be ready by 9:00 AM start time.
• Vendor breakdown begins at 1:00 PM. No early breakdown.
• The loading zone may be used for active loading/unloading (see layout; 15 minutes max). Please do not leave your vehicle unattended.
• Vendor parking is available in the JCCH parking structure (3rd floor and above). Vendors will be given full parking validation for the day (one full validation per booth). Please bring your parking ticket to the Gift Shop greeter desk for validation.
• For vendors who have requested tables, please come to the Gift Shop beginning at 7:00 AM to pick up your table. Rented tables must be returned to the Gift Shop by no later than 1:30 PM.
• Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, tables (if not renting), tablecloths, displays, chairs, appropriate change, bags, and packaging supplies, etc.
• Please maintain a clean area during and after the event.
• JCCH is not responsible for any injuries, damage or theft.
• If bringing and setting up your own tent, your tent must be weighed down.
• Should JCCH confirm your participation, you will be asked to make your payment no later than 1 (one) week before the craft fair date. Payment may be made by cash or check payable to the JCCH.
• Your participation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Failure to comply with all or any of these rules may jeopardize future participation in JCCH craft fairs and/or other JCCH sales events

CONFIRMATION & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I (We) do hereby certify that I (We) have read all of the terms and descriptions and have a true understanding of what the Confirmation & Acknowledgment and Guidelines have stated, and agree to all terms and conditions. I (We) agree to waive the promoter (Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i), supporting affiliates, committee volunteers, and all its direct and indirect parents and subsidiaries, any of their affiliated entities, successors and assigns, and any current or future director, officer, employee, partner, member or agent of any of them, All State, All Federal, State of Hawai‘i, of any and all disputes, law suits or issues that may occur with you and/or your customers on premises due to possible bodily injury, illness, harm, or unforeseeable situations, and are the exclusive liability and responsibility of the vendor. By executing this agreement and should I (We) be untruthful with the application, immediate termination is valid. Should there be non-compliance of fulfilling this commitment, the vendor is fully responsible for the duration of the commitment and is liable for all financial obligations that include commitment of booth fees plus any other fees incurred.

I (We) commit to participate in the JCCH Craft & Collectibles Fair following the terms specified above, and by submitting my payment in full, will confirm my reservation for participation. I also understand that my payment is NON-REFUNDABLE. A $35.00 service charge will be assessed for each check returned. I (We) understand that this agreement may be subject to change without written notice and I (We) have accepted all agreements and guidelines for this event as well as the understanding that JCCH has the right to refuse any applicants. As the undersigned Participant is signing this Waiver, the undersigned warrants that he/she has the authority, power and legal capacity to execute this Waiver.
