Practical Information

Accommodation, food, transport, and other logistics
ACCOMMODATION - Since we only have a limited number of private rooms, we encourage you to share a room with people you are coming with. The allocation to private rooms will be prioritised for participants paying the Full Fee, and given on a first-come-first-served basis. Please indicate your preference - whilst we will try our best to allocate according to your preference, we cannot make any guarantee.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE - Before and after the training, shuttle bus service will be provided to and from the training venue. Please indicate your preference.

We will try our best to accommodate your special dietary needs. However, due to the various limitations and concerns, we may not be able to cater to every request.

ART OF HOSTING PRACTICE GUIDE - You will receive an electronic PDF version of the practice guide via email before the training at no cost. You can choose to order a printed practice guide. The printed guide will be double-sided black and white, bound, with colour cover. We know it is expensive, so if you can print out for yourself more cheaply, please do.

PARTICIPATION FEE - With the aim of allowing this training to be as inclusive as possible, while balancing the need to enable the training to happen and support a fair and healthy economy, we are offering a tiered participation fee structure. Please consider what you can afford to pay, how the fee you choose supports our ability to provide this training, and supports the team in covering the many volunteer hours they have invested. We also offer an additional contribution opportunity for those who would like to support someone else's participation. If you cannot afford any of the fees listed, please let us know on this form, and we will contact you for a conversation.
Group Discount (Full Fee & Standard Fee Applicants only)
If you are coming in a group of 2 or more people, we will offer a 5% group discount on the participation fee. Please let us know the full names of the other participants who are sharing the group discount with you.
Additional Contribution

It is for this reason we are offering a scholarship for Hong Kong residents eager to join the 2025 Art of Hosting training. If you’re ready to learn, share, and bring these practices back to your community, we want to support you.

Scholarships are limited, and are offered on a first-come first-served basis while places remain available. The process is grounded in trust — we simply ask that you complete this form with care and honesty, commit to attending the training in full, and, afterwards share a short reflective journal with us so that your experience can inspire future programmes. Once we receive your application, we’ll follow up with a friendly call to connect, learn more about you, and explore how this training might serve your work and community.
