Terms and Conditions Data and Payment

Data Policy

1. All personal data (Your name/child name/child birthday/address/number/email/medical condition) is needed for contacting purposes regarding La Danza Studio. Your child’s birthday is needed to help decide the most suitable class. Any medical condition is also required so that we are aware and can be appropriately prepared. Allergies should also be disclosed for instances such as confectionary being given out at the end of term.
2. Registration paper forms with all data and information disclosed are kept in a secured locked file cabinet.
3. Mobile phone number and medical conditions are kept on registers just incase we may need to contact you in an emergency during class time. In an unlikely event we have to dial 999 we are able to let the paramedic know of any medical condition your child may have. After classes are finished they are then put back in a secured locked file cabinet.
4. All data is also stored on La Danza Studio Laptop device which has a secured private pin.
5. La Danza Studio email account is stored on a phone device, it has a secured pin number and a Data Erase Protection in place.
6. If you have given permission of the use of photos/videos of your child for advertising, promoting, facebook page etc. Names will not be shown and you are welcome to opt out at any time. Photos and videos are only stored on devices that belong to La Danza Studio.
7. Emails and letters will be sent out for marketing and activities at La Danza Studio, you are welcome to opt out at any time.
8. Your data will not be given out to anyone without your consent. If another professionally qualified dance teacher was to take class/classes at La Danza Studio, they would have access to phone numbers and medical conditions from the register during class time, again, in case of any emergencies. This would then be returned to La Danza Studio.
9. If you decide to leave La Danza Studio your data will be stored up to 6 months. After that time paper recordings will be shredded and data on devices will be deleted.
10. You have the right to have your data deleted at any point by informing La Danza Studio.
11. You will be contacted by text or email if a pupil or member of staff in the school has been tested positive of COVID-19. Government guidelines would need to be followed.

Payment

• 30mins - £5 per lesson
• 45mins - £5.50 per lesson
• 60mins - £6 per lesson
• Fees must be paid in full before term starts.
• If TWO or more classes are being taken, payment can be made by two instalments.
• Classes continue throughout half term.
• We accept cash (in an envelope with your child’s name and the amount written on the front) cheque payable to Gabriella Di Girolamo or bank transfer.

• If your child does not wish to continue at La Danza Studio you must inform Gabriella in writing/email.
• In the event of a lockdown classes will continue online (Zoom).
• No refunds will be made once payments have been paid, for missed lessons e.g illness/holidays/parties, or lockdown.

Whilst every effort will be given to give your child verbal feedback, sometimes it will be necessary to correct positions physically, due to the nature of teaching dance. Physical contact is often the best way for a child to understand how a movement should feel and/or which muscles to use. This is always conducted with the utmost care and professionalism.
