FALL 2025 League AGE, FORMAT, DATES, LOCATION, TIMES

• Open Roster Format: Players register and pay for the season, but are not on designated or "set" teams. We divide into teams at the start of each game to make the playing level competitive on both sides. 
• Registration is for age 38+ players * and * age 25+ players who have played in the SRWAC Wednesday Pickup Group. (Most league players are in their 40s, 50s and 60s.)
• Field is at Sycamore Canyon Park in the Stonebridge community of Scripps Ranch.
• We will play 11v11. Note: There may be games with only enough players for 8v8 or 9v9.
• Season is September 02 – December 18, 2025
• Games are on TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS
• Games are 90 minutes with a half-time break. Teams can request quarter breaks for goalie switches and water breaks. In that case, game time is not extended.
• Games are 7:00pm to 8:40pm.
• Season is 15 weeks with 45 total games (1 game per week per player, unless additional players are needed to fill spots).
• Roster will need 13 players/team/game (11 players + 2 subs) x 2 teams x 3 games/week = 78 player spots per week with 1 game per player.
• There may be weeks when you have the option to play in more than 1 game per week by adding yourself to the Waitlist for a 2nd game.

FALL 2025 League Costs

• Cost is $96 for Non-Members and $84 for Members.
• **OPTION ADDED: Wednesdays-only in November and December (6 games) $42.00**
• If you are a 2025 SRWAC Paid Member, you will receive an email with a discount code.
• If you'd like to become a SRWAC Member, complete the 2025 Member Registration and $40 payment, and you'll receive the discount code by email.

FALL 2025 League Rules

• Field is natural grass with the usual dirt spots, lumpiness and holes. We will do our best to get the maintenance department to keep it safe for us!
• Referees start the clock at 7pm. If teams are not ready to play, the time is not adjusted to allow for the full game.
• There must be 7 players on each team to start the game.
• Cleats and shin guards are required.
• Bring a white shirt and a dark shirt to each game.
• Jewelry and watches must be covered or removed.
• No slide tackling. Field players cannot touch or protect the ball while on the ground.
• All experienced / skilled / competitive players should be able to adjust their speed and style of play to keep the competition fair and safe.
• We cannot play when the ground is wet, whether or not it is raining at the time the game starts.

* The player named herein acknowledges that participating in the sport of recreational soccer, as in any sport, may result in injury. The undersigned therefore releases Scripps Ranch Women's Athletic Club (SRWAC), it's members, teams agents, officers, officials, coaches and players, and the City of San Diego from all liability or responsibility for any claim, damage or legal action on behalf of the player, their parents, their heirs or personal representatives, arising from any injury the player may sustain while participating in soccer or related activities. The undersigned also acknowledges their willingness to play recreational soccer under the rules set forth by the SRWAC Soccer League.
