  • Tech Helps @Home Program

  • Tech Helps@Home is a computer literacy program for senior adults ages 60 and older, as well as disabled adults who are homebound. The program is available for residents of a nursing facility, or an assisted living facility. Tech Helps@Home will provide first time participants with a Chromebook and twelve hours of one-on-one training. Portions of the training will include Google, Google Play, connecting to Wi-Fi and cybersecurity. This program is currently available in the counties of Chester, Decatur, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Madison and McNairy.

    Homebound Meaning= (There must be a normal inability to leave home and leaving home must require a considerable taxing effort, which means leaving is physically difficult or requires frequent rest breaks during the activity or prolonged recovery after the outing

Portions of the training will include Google, Google Play, connecting to Wi-Fi and cybersecurity. Tech Helps classes will be held in the county you reside. This program is currently available in the counties of Chester, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Madison and McNairy.

    Applications can be dropped off at your county Southwest Human Resource Agency Community Service Center.
