1 piece chair sling - width measurement.

Using the fabric tape provided in our measuring kit, measure the width of the sling.

This should be done ½ way up the back of the chair. Carefully place the beginning of the fabric tape measure at the left OUTSIDE edge of the fabric, where the fabric goes down into the metal sling channel.

Using the masking tape provided, tape the fabric tape measure across the face of the chair in at least 3 places. End by taping the fabric tape measure to the metal side of the right sling rail. You will upload your measurement and picture in the following steps.

Click next when you are ready to upload your image.

1 piece ottoman - width measurement.

Using the fabric tape provided in our measuring kit, measure the width of the sling.

This should be done across the middel of the ottoman.

Carefully place the beginning of the fabric tape measure at the left OUTSIDE edge of the fabric, where the fabric goes down into the metal sling channel.

Using the masking tape provided, tape the fabric tape measure across the face of the ottoman in at least 3 places. Let the fabic tap measure drape over the right edge.

Take your measurement where the fabric meets the metal as it goes down into the sling channel.

Click next when you are ready to upload your meusrement and image.

2 piece chair and chaise sling - back width measurment.

Using the fabric tape provided in our measuring kit, measure the width of the sling. This should be done in the middle of the back of the chair. Carefully align the beginning of the fabric tape measure at the left OUTSIDE edge of the fabric, where the fabric goes down into the metal channel.

Using the masking tape provided, tape the fabric tape measure across the face of the chair in at least 3 places. End by taping the fabric tape measure to the metal side of the right sling rail. Note the measurement and round UP to the nearest quarter (.25") inch. You will use this measurement when ordering.

Now measure the height of the sling back.

Start at the top of the sling, and carefully align the start of the fabric tape measure with the top of the sling rail channel and tape it in place. Next, tape the fabric tape measure along the face of the chair in at least 5 places, making sure to follow the contours of the chair.

Let the fabric tape hang over the front of the chair.

Note the measurement and round UP to the nearest quarter .(25) inch.

Ottoman Depth Measurement

Now measure the depth at the ottoman.

Start at the back left of the ottoman. Carefully align the start of the fabric tape measure with the start of the metal sling rail. Tape the fabric tape measure in at least 3 places across the top of the ottoman.

Let the fabric tape hang over the front of the chair.

Note the measurement at the end of the metal sling rail (not the fabric!) and round UP to the nearest quarter .(25) inch.

Now measure the length of the sling.

Start at the top of the sling and carefully align the start of the fabric tape measure with the top of the sling and tape it in place. Next, tape the fabric tape measure along the face of the chair in at least 6 places, making sure to follow the contours of the chair as it moves to the seat. Let the fabric tape hang over the front of the chair.

Note the measurement and round UP to the nearest quarter .(25) inch.

2 Piece Sling Chair and Chaise Sling - Seat Depth / Length Measurement

Now, repeat this process for the length (or depth) of the sling. Start at the back of the seat, and carefully align the start of the fabric tape measure with the back edge and tape it in place, using the masking tape provided. Next, tape the fabric tape measure along the face of the chair in at least 3 places. Let the fabric tape hang over the front of the chair. You will upload this picture after seeing a sample image on the next slide.
