Rex & Co. Terms of Service
1. Service Agreement
By booking services with Rex & Co., the client agrees to all terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all services including drop-ins, dog walking, daycare, house sitting, and boarding.
2. Payments & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure all bookings. The remaining balance is due prior to or at the completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. Late Payments
Failure to make payment by the agreed-upon time may result in late fees and/or suspension or termination of services. Outstanding balances must be paid in full before future services are provided.
4. Scheduling & Availability
Bookings are not confirmed until the required deposit is received. Rex & Co. reserves the right to decline or cancel services based on availability, safety concerns, or other circumstances.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled service. Rex & Co. reserves the right to retain deposits for late cancellations.
6. Pet Health & Behavior
All pets must be in good health and free of contagious conditions. Clients must disclose any behavioral issues, including aggression or anxiety. Rex & Co. reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a pet poses a safety risk.
7. Veterinary Care & Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, Rex & Co. is authorized to seek veterinary care for the pet. The client is responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred. Rex & Co. is not liable for outcomes related to emergency medical care.
8. Liability
Rex & Co. is not liable for illness, injury, escape, or damages caused by pets beyond reasonable control. Clients assume full responsibility for any damages or injuries caused by their pet to property, people, or other animals.
9. Ongoing Care & Extended Stays
If a pet’s stay extends beyond the originally agreed-upon dates, the standard boarding rate will continue to accrue daily until the pet is picked up or alternative arrangements are made. Payment is required to continue services.
10. Abandonment Policy
Pets not picked up within 14 days of the scheduled end date will be considered abandoned. Abandonment is considered neglect of an animal and will be processed as such.
Lack of communication and/or failure to make payment may result in termination of services and transfer of care. Rex & Co. reserves the right to rehome or surrender the pet. The owner remains responsible for all outstanding balances.
