GGBY 2025 Workshop Application Form
We encourage workshop providers from any and all disciplines to apply! Be creative, the weirder the better! From movement arts, rigging, discussion circles, mindfulness, and more. Not sure if your workshop is feasible or welcome? Feel free to message communications@fruitbowlfriends.org for any questions that are not answered within the form. Workshops are accepted on a rolling basis. The sooner you submit, the sooner you are likely to be accepted. Your schedule and availability may also affect whether you are chosen as a workshop teacher. The application window ends October 15th and workshops and schedule will be finalized by October 25th.

Workshop Types
We wish to host a variety of rigging, slackline, Highline, ethics, yoga, meditation, and environmental workshops during GGBY. (The sky is the limit, be creative!) If your workshop requires any props (i.e. flow toys, hoops, aerial apparatus & a-frame etc), the teacher will be responsible for providing those items to students. Teachers will receive a dollar amount off of whichever ticket they wish to purchase. Yoga teachers are not required to provide mats to their students. Acro teachers will teach in the movement space, puzzle mats for the movement space are provided by GGBY. Slackline teachers may use the ground slacklines for a workshop, or highline teachers may request to reserve a specific line for a workshop. You must be qualified to teach your subject matter. If you are applying for a high risk workshop (silks on highline, highline rigging, etc.). you will be vetted before being accepted.

Multiple Workshop Ideas?
Please do submit more than one workshop if you are brimming with inspiration to share! We will likely accept only one workshop from each provider at first, however, and allow teachers to teach a second workshop if/when we need to fill in the schedule, so apply with your best idea first. Teaching a second workshop will not grant you a further ticket discount, you choose to offer more than one workshop out of the goodness of your heart.
Gear Notice
If your workshop requires *gear* besides puzzle mats, yoga mats, &/or ground slacklines (e.g. aerial rig, poi, staff, hoops, ropes, highline specific gear), YOU AS THE WORKSHOP PROVIDER WILL BE EXPECTED TO SOURCE, PROVIDE, SET UP, & TAKE DOWN ALL OF THOSE ITEMS FOR PARTICIPANTS. You may request that participants bring their own required gear if applicable. GGBY workshop and leadership staff will not organize any gear or equipment logistics for workshops.
