Write a brief personal statement that will give the Delta GEMS committee a picture of who you are as a student and as an individual. You may include something about your family, academic aspirations/surroundings, or extracurricular activities in which you participate to help tell your story.
Returning GEMS Applicant Prompt:
Empowerment often begins will the courage to use your voice. Describe a time when you or another young woman demonstrated empowerment through action or words. What made this moment significant? Finally, explain how young women can use their voices today to uplift and empower others in their schools and communities. Be sure to provide clear examples for both.
