  • At Plumb-Tech Plumbing and Gas, we take pride in providing high-quality plumbing services with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer care. Our reputation is built on the skills and character of our team members. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all employees to maintain our high standards and ensure a positive work environment.

  • 1. Professionalism

    • Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance; wear the company uniform as required.
    • Be punctual and reliable, arriving on time on site, ensuring you are prepared for the day.
    • Greet builders, other trades with courtesy and professionalism, addressing their concerns with respect. If issues or queries arise on site, contact Ben Pedley immediately.
    • Keep work areas tidy and clean up after completing a job
    • Always respect client property and privacy.
    • Employees must maintain professional boundaries with clients. Personal relationships, including direct contact with clients outside of work-related matters, are strictly prohibited.
    • Any communication with clients must be conducted through approved business channels.
    • Resolve conflict professionally and escalate serious issues to management.
  • 2. Ethical Conduct & Integrity

    • Be honest in all dealings with customers, colleagues, and the company.
    • Never engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices, including overcharging or recommending unnecessary services.
    • Do not accept bribes, kickbacks, or incentives that compromise ethical decision-making.
    • Report any conflicts of interest or unethical behaviour to management immediately.
  • 3. Safety & Compliance

    • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as per The Plumb-Tech Plumbing and Gas Policy.
    • Adhere to local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
    • Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
    • Do not engage in reckless behaviour that could put yourself, customers, or colleagues at risk.
    • Never consume drugs or alcohol during work hours or while representing the company. (inclusive of company vehicles).
    • Do not smoke within the complex of the office or in work vehicles – cleaning fees apply.
    • No pets are to be inside of the cabin of work vehicles – cleaning fees apply
    • Do not use mobile phones while driving work vehicles – fines apply.
  • 4. Respect in the Workplace

    • Treat colleagues, clients, and vendors with respect, regardless of race, gender, age, or background.
    • Avoid offensive language, harassment, or discrimination in any form.
    • Avoid conversations that involve downward spiral talking or gossip. If you have questions or need support, book a time to speak with management.
    • Foster a team-oriented environment by assisting and supporting fellow employees.
    • Come to discussions with a positive and solution orientated mindset.
  • 5. Confidentiality & Company Property

    • Protect client and company information; do not share private details with unauthorized parties.
    • As per as per The Plumb-Tech Plumbing and Gas Policy use company vehicles, tools, and equipment responsibly and for work-related purposes only.
    • Report lost, stolen, or damaged company property to management immediately.
  • 6. Commitment to Excellence

    • Stay up to date with industry trends and participate in ongoing training as required.
    • Take pride in craftsmanship and strive for quality in every job.
    • Seek continuous improvement and be open to constructive feedback.
    • Represent the company positively in the community and online, including on social media.
  • 7. Diciplinary Action

    • Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including verbal or written warnings, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity of the offense.
