Whether you're preparing sermons, engaged in ministry, conducting research, or simply exploring theology for spiritual enrichment, our extensive resource collection is here to support you. With flexible access and a welcoming atmosphere, our library is your space to stay inspired and connected to the latest conversations in the Church and beyond.
- Borrow up to 6 books for 3 weeks, and renew as many times as required
- Enjoy long opening hours (7:30am-8pm, 7 days a week)
- Take advantage of our postal loan service if residing outside of Manchester
Membership Fees

Our Membership is processed and renewed on a yearly basis. If you are interested in a shorter-term membership, we will calculate the equivalent fees following your application.

General Membership: £70

Concessions: £40

Fee Payment Arrangements

You will be contacted following your application submission with further payment instructions. Any fee must be paid in full before the commencement of membership. Telephone payments can be made by contacting Luther King Theological Library on 0161 249 2509. during staffed hours. If you are not paying your own membership fee, please select 'Organisation'.

Terms of Library Usage:
- The removal of reference material from the library is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Loan material must be correctly issued using the self-service computer before removal from the library.
- It is the borrower's responsibility to return and/or renew items on loan before they become overdue.
- Members will be liable to a fine in the event of failure to return a library book, or loss/damage of library material.
- Members may bring visitors into a library only with the express permission of library staff.
